Afternoon: Visit Orquigonia, an orchid sanctuary, for a peaceful walk among native orchids and plants. Wander along the trails and enjoy the lush natural surroundings. ​Day 2: Semuc Champey Morning: Depart early for the Semuc Champey natural monument. Hike up to the viewpoint to get a panoramic view of the turquoise pools and the surrounding jungle. Afternoon: Take a refreshing swim in the natural pools of Semuc Champey, and, for adventure-seekers, explore the K’an Ba Cave. This cave adventure involves wading through underground rivers by candlelight. Day 3: Finca Sacmoc Morning: Travel to Finca Sacmoc, a remote farm offering a blend of history, adventure, and nature. Afternoon: Enjoy activities like hiking, cave exploring, and swimming in the natural pools of a waterfall. Take in the beauty of the surrounding forests and hills. Learn about the dam’s history and importance to the country’s power supply. Afternoon: Embark on a scenic boat ride along the Chixoy River, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and forests.
